Memorandum of Understanding between Bank of China and Luxembourg Stock Exchange (May 2014)
Focus on – Euro MTF

Euro MTF: the leading MTF in Europe

Created by LuxSE in 2005, Euro MTF is today the leading Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF) for listed securities. Since its launch, more than 17,500 securities have been listed.
Euro MTF offers a great flexibility, especially in regards to the latest amendments to the Prospectus Directive (PD II), while meeting the highest standards in terms of transparency.
It is now an established market, especially for MTN programs and High Yield bonds, with many top rated issuers represented.

What makes our Euro MTF so successful?

  • Our one-stop-shop approach, including prospectus approval, admission to trading and regulatory reporting, provides issuers and listing agents with the most efficient listing process.
  • Thanks to our efficient procedures, we can guarantee a fast time-to-market. Indeed, most securities are listed within 5 days, or even much faster depending on circumstances.
  • Synergies with the regulated market for current issuers as base prospectuses already approved on our regulated market can also be used to list on the Euro MTF without an additional approval by the LuxSE.
  • Euro MTF is the perfect market place for innovation. LuxSE is a pioneering player by nature and is always open to embrace new products. We offer a pragmatic approach to issuers and their legal advisors looking to launch innovative products.
  • ‘Listing in Luxembourg’, a label of quality recognized by international issuers & investors. More than 1,800 top issuers already have chosen our Euro MTF to list their securities, being BNY Mellon, J.P. Morgan, BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, Altice and many more.
  • A cost-efficient solution with appropriate administrative requirements (e.g. no IFRS accounts, etc.) in order to better meet issuers’ needs.
  • Benefits of tax treatments (e.g. quoted Eurobond exemption) as Euro MTF is a recognized market for listing by UK authorities.
  • Securities listed on our Euro MTF market are eligible for Eurosystem collateral operations and investments made by Luxembourg investment funds.

Our team of listing experts will guide you through the whole listing process and will provide you with proper advice if you wish to list new product categories and innovative structures.
