    Sustainable Finance Manager
    Permanent contract (M/F)

    Tasks/missions​

    We are looking to reinforce our sustainable finance and LGX team with a professional with experience in managing and implementing new projects in line with our strategy.  You will also have experience creating research and communications materials focused upon market developments and trends in the area of sustainable finance. You will be reporting to our Director of LGX.

      • Design and execute our sustainable finance market research initiatives which will contribute to identifying and developing new products
      • Ensure that management and the LGX team is fully up to date on market developments through regular internal communications and briefings
      • Analyse and elaborate ESG data, define metrics and KPIs to feed our platform
      • Elaborate training material for diverse kind of audience in the field of sustainable finance and deliver training course at national and international level (LGX Academy)
      • Participate in national and international working group meetings on sustainable finance topics and contribute to the preparation of such meetings by preparing relevant technical reports
      • Contribute to articles, interviews and research papers related sustainable finance for external press and to assist management
      • Provide internal training and guidance on sustainable finance and the usage of LGX tools
      • Execute and monitor assigned projects dedicated to our sustainable finance developments by managing scope, time, resources, quality and risk
      • Assemble and collaborate with cross functional teams; provide guidance, direction and follow-up to ensure implement of projects defined by the LGX management team
      • Regularly report on project progress to management


    Key requirements

      • Master degree in finance, business management or economics with ideally a specialization in sustainable or environmental finance
      • A minimum of 5 years work experience in sustainability / ESG (environmental, social, governance matters) within a finance, banking or capital markets context
      • Previous work experience with green, social and sustainability bonds is considered a strong asset
      • Skilled presenter at ease to explain complex subjects and to defend the Luxembourg Green Exchange values and interests
      • Strong organisation skills and ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
      • Excellent project management skills with a proven track record
      • Ability to research, comprehend, analyse, and interpret complex business documents
      • Ability to work well under pressure with a proactive approach including managing multiple deadlines and changing project scope/direction
      • Accurate, detail-oriented and reliable

    Tasks/missions​

      • Process applications to the LGX platform and prepare applications for validation by LGX management
      • Monitoring of issuers to capture new green/sustainable issuances in the market through use of tools like Bloomberg, CBI and Environmental Finance databases etc
      • Monitoring of issuers to capture new green/sustainable data published
      • Data collection and input into our platform and contribution to improving published data
      • Follow developments in the area of sustainable finance and complete market research  for management, business development and the LGX team
      • Prepare data and short articles for our newsletter/blog
      • Contribute to our preparation for technical working groups by preparing relevant technical reports summarizing key sustainable finance related topics

    Tasks/missions​

      • Provide recommendations, analysis, and advice to all Compliance related matters and queries
      • Identify potential or actual Compliance risks and propose realistic mitigation or corrective solution
      • Assess, review and implement adequate policies and procedures
      • Define and maintain the risk based approach and country risk assessment
      • Manage Compliance annual training (design and delivery)
      • Provide support to other departments in case of new regulation or law
      • Ensure regulatory watch for Compliance matters
      • Report regularly on activities progress and risk mapping


    Profile

      • Master’s degree in Law with a minimum of 10 years work experience in a similar position
      • Excellent knowledge of AML-KYC laws
      • Excellent knowledge of applicable regulation related to Compliance matters and to Luxembourg finance sector in particular MAR, CSSF circulars and MiFID II
      • Strong organizational skills with an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
      • Strong ability to research, comprehend, analyze and present information
      • Accurate, reliable, and discrete 
      • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels

    The Regulatory Officer will report to the Head of Regulatory Affairs and will work in close cooperation with the International Primary Markets and the Markets & Surveillance Departments to ensure regulatory compliance of LuxSE activities.
     

    Tasks/missions​

      • Conduct research on legal and regulatory issues linked to capital markets (including MIFID II/R, MAR, Prospectus Regulation, Transparency Directive, Benchmarks Regulation, CSDR, Sustainable Finance and related implemented acts at the European and national level)
      • Follow developments in the international and domestic legal framework to anticipate changes impacting LuxSE activities
      • Provide advice regarding capital markets related new domestic, European and international legislation
      • Advise and support in developing new services and products in line with applicable law and regulations
      • Advise operational teams on capital markets related legal issues
      • Support the Head of Regulatory Affairs to maintain a proactive dialogue with domestic and European regulators
      • Represent LuxSE in local and international peer group meetings on regulatory issues
      • Participate in internal business/project steering committees and working groups
      • Draft and review internal policies and regulations
      • Train staff in capital markets regulations


    Profile

      • University degree or equivalent certification in Law
      • 5+ years’ experience working or consulting in relevant fields of expertise, largely gained in the financial services/ capital markets environment, ideally in a local law firm or in a consulting firm 
      • Strong technical knowledge and deep understanding of capital markets regulatory matters (see topics listed above)
      • Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English and French
      • High sense of responsibility, organisation, initiative and problem solving approach

    Analyst Programmer – Trading Systems (M/F)
    Permanent contract

    Within our IT development team and under the responsibility of the project manager, your main mission will be to contribute to the detailed analyses required for projects and to participate in the development of application solutions. Your versatility should allow you to work on different technical subjects. Your autonomy and pragmatism will enable you to deliver applications in line with customer needs both from a solution and deadline point of view.
     

    Responsibilities​

      • Analysis of activities: participating in the drafting of technical specifications; working with the solution architect to write detailed technical designs; ensuring a thorough knowledge of the software and platforms used.
      • Development activities: carrying out the development of IT solutions; complying with the development standards and procedures in force; providing sufficient and relevant comments on the sources developed; optimising sources where necessary.
      • Testing activities: participating in the writing of unit tests; ensuring the passing of unit tests.


    Profile

      • BAC+4 in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent
      • A first experience of at least 4 years in a similar function

    Functional skills

    Technical knowledge (in order of importance)

      • Languages: in-depth knowledge and strong experience in JAVA 
      • Programming in C# with dotNET is a plus
      • Good knowledge of SQL language
      • JAVA socket programming
      • Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Mongo DB)
      • Knowledge of FIX and Swift protocols
      • SOA, ESB, REST API and Microservices architecture: knowledge of messaging and queuing mechanisms specific to an enterprise service bus, including Kafka knowledge.
      • Systems: web infrastructure (Apache, Linux, Tomcat).
      • Development environment:
        • - Tools: Gitea, Maven, Jenkins, Sonar, Nexus, Docker, Azure, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes (AKS / OpenShift), Jira, Confluence
        • - Work in agile method with collaborative tools
